DBman96, I understand your point and thanks for the suggestion. It just isn't right to let someone (especially an officer who suppose to upheld the law) doing something wrong like that and go free. Just think about it...if he was to get away this time (as i'm sure he did before), he can just randomly pull another person on the road over (and it may be you) and gives him/her a ticket no apparent reason and forces that person to go to court etc..

If you're going to fight the ticket by calling the cop a liar, get a lawyer.
If not, pay the piddly $35 and be done with it.
Any other action will work against you.

Filing a complaint on the officer in question is a good idea... and I agree that this may help straighten his sorry ass up... however, I suggest you stir that hornet's nest up AFTER you go to court and beat the ticket !!!

I agree. Raise hell after the ticket gets taken care of.
Many cops are assholes. It's unfortunate, but they do have the de-facto power to mess with with you.
Clear the ticket first.
